Diane is the leader in the field of descriptive video through her company Descriptive Video Works (DVW). She is a passionate advocate for the blind and partially sighted, committed to providing broad media access and a shared entertainment experience for all individuals.
Her company, DVW pioneered live video description in North America with the Juno Awards in 2010, provides live audio description of television programming, including live descriptive coverage of the Royal Wedding Prime Time. DVW made television history by describing the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, repeated in Sochi 2014.
